Of Soul-Winning & Disciple-Making
Monday, 22 Apr 2013
Dear Partners and Friends,
We've just come through a powerful 21 days of fasting and prayer, and I must say the effects, though already proven so life changing, have only just begun to unfold...and will continue to do so in the days, weeks and months ahead.
We've asked God for many different kinds of breakthroughs, but especially so in the whole area of soul-winning...and disciple-making. I'm happy to report that we've seen some very encouraging results within the Acts Church ...

Old is New
Saturday, 12 Dec 2009
This morning I thought about how so many of us are looking for the "new thing", ie new ways or concepts of how we can change the world... Then it hit me — the "new thing" is actually the "old truth(s)". We don't have to look very far. It's all — tried, tested and true — for generation after generation...
The world is changed by the LOVE of God — by mercy, grace & forgiveness. Through generosity and prayers, faith and action... ...

Promises
Friday, 27 Nov 2009
I've been thinking a lot about "promises" lately... about how important it is to keep a promise made. God is a promise keeping God and He takes His promises seriously — thank God — His promises are yes and amen! The problem is, we live in a culture that doesn't reflect that.

Bound to Christ
Wednesday, 28 Oct 2009

We may no longer be a slave to sin but that doesn't mean we should live as our flesh dictates. The Apostle Paul called himself a... bond-servant & a slave to Christ.
He called himself a prisoner of the Lord and told us to walk worthy of our calling/ purpose. Many ppl fail in life & even miss their destiny - ...

Discipline!
Friday, 16 Oct 2009
Discipline, even more than desire, is what truly makes the difference! It's what's needed in many of our lives to gain the victory we seek -That's why we who put our trust in Christ & follow His ways are known as His "disciples". The daily disciplines in our lives reflect Him.
If you're not completely satisfied with your life today, been struggling with a particular weakness...try DISCIPLINE! Believe in something & stick to it religiously - no matter ...

The 'Family' Choice
Monday, 07 Sep 2009
I have not yet met a family that didn't have a family member who didn't need "help" — be it a parent or a sibling or a cousin or an uncle etc. Even families of pastors, elders, deacons, missionaries and counselors are not exempted — but the expectation, of us, always seems higher.
The popular question we get is "if you can help so many people, why can't you help your ...
